The ideal candidate would be an experienced deli manager (5+ years) who wants to progress their career.
Applicant must have the following,
· Fresh food knowledge and a real passion for food
· Experience in people management and team building
· Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment
· Experience in successfully achieving sales targets and KPI's
· The candidate must be fully HACCP and food safety trained, and has experience in meeting the HACCP and food safety requirements, and as such, has a proven track record in passing audits.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· IT literate and experienced in Microsoft Excel & Word
· Applicants must have their own vehicle to travel between the stores.
Main Duties:
Management of the fresh food departments across a group of stores, continuously innovating to grow sales and enhance standards whilst maintaining best practice
· Ensuring highest standards of quality, service and cleanliness are maintained in 3 Maxol Stores and 1 SPAR store.
· Responsible for training existing and new team members
· Ensuring the team are fully HACCP and food safety trained
· Ensuring that all fresh food departments are legally compliant
· Leading the introduction of new concepts into the fresh food departments.
· Coaching the team to deliver excellence in customer service
· Ensuring that all stores pass their food safety audits
· Reviewing the stock levels in each store
· Producing a weekly margin for each store.
· Completing mock Fresh food audits, actioning and following up on issues
· Controlling wastage in the fresh food departments
· Ensuring that cost prices are accurate and the margin availability of the fresh food departments is correct.
Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
