JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Weighbridge Administrator (RINGASKIDDY BULK STORES)

Summary of Position

The Weighbridge Administrator will be required to operate the weighbridge software and keep accurate records for stock control, traceability and quality control purposes. The Weighbridge Administrator will familiarise himself/herself with Company feed management procedures including but not limited to HACCP and TASCC principles and codes of practice and their application at Doyle Shipping Group facilities. The Weighbridge Administrator will carry out additional warehouse tasks including but not limited to sweeping and cleaning store, taking temperature records, sampling and general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities / Principal Duties

To operate the Company’s weighbridge software
To keep and maintain stock records and submit such records to customers and others as required
To keep and maintain records for HACCP, TASCC, quality control and other compliance matters
Any other duties the management may from time to time deem necessary and reasonably required in the DSG Cork dockyards.

To maintain the smooth running of the Company offices, reception
To operate the Company’s telephone switchboard and to manage incoming calls and messages
To meet and greet clients/visitors at the reception area and to provide friendly, efficient customer service
To maintain security by following set procedures, monitoring logbook and issuing visitor badges as required
To manage all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail
To order office and equipment supplies and the relationship with suppliers
To co-ordination of office events, conference calls and meetings and organise catering as required
Any other duties the management may from time to time deem necessary and reasonably require.

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Location

The primary place of work for this position will be at the Company’s Bulk Stores, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. The Weighbridge/Administrator may be required to work in areas of operations from time to time as the Company may deem necessary and reasonably require.
