As an individual contributor, the Programme Manager will work within the Global Client Change Practice.
This Global group works closely with Clients, the broader Client Change team, Client Implementations, Worldwide Technology, Operations, Relationship Management and Product to deliver effective project portfolio management & change management from change initiation through to implementation and benefits realisation.
The group is responsible for Programme Management, Project Management, business consultancy, and business analysis, brought about by Clients’ strategic direction, clients’ requested changes, industry regulation and/or operational efficiency directives.
The key responsibilities of the role include:

Responsible for managing and helping prioritise large-scale client change portfolios

Responsible for managing large scale client programmes with multiple projects and work streams. Programmes involve delivery of critical client, operational or regulatory changes that impact multiple business units or disciplines.

Provide enhanced Client interface, communication and change governance on change items managed

Demonstrate strong leadership and communicating effectively with different business units at all levels when managing initiatives

Responsible for aligning resources, overseeing agreed budgets, creating project plans and tracking key milestones/risks/dependencies. This is the key coordinator to ensure the successful implementation of critical Client, Operational and Regulatory change

Ensure all project updates are routinely and effectively communicated to clients, business partners and vendors, demonstrating strong communication

Ensure all projects are delivered to quality targets, in a timely manner, within budget and the procedures generated are robust for operational partners and that the project has met its objectives

Maintain or enhance, as appropriate, a structured and focused mechanism for take on of new business and/or new products

Elicitation of clients’ business strategy & immediate business need through structured interviews and information gathering sessions. Document clearly defined business strategy and validation with the client and business partners.

Work with key NT stakeholder groups to manage resolution, escalations and presentation of issues for Clients

To build positive relationships and networks with key NT & client stakeholders
The successful candidate will benefit from having:

A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience

Prior Project Management or Programme Management experience

Significant experience working within Asset Servicing/ Investment Management with a highly detailed understanding of 2+ areas of the following Asset Servicing Business' - Investment Operations Outsourcing; Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting, Custody

Specialised depth and/or breadth of expertise in Project/Programme Management

Demonstrated ability to lead others to solve complex problems

Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view

Excellent communications skills; verbal, non-verbal and written

In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge

Highly flexible and adaptable to change with strong organizational skills

Strong skills as core Microsoft based applications, including MS Power BI
