Head Barista / Coffee Lead – Corporate Site (Dublin Docklands)
Heyday Recruitment Group is currently recruiting an experienced Head Barista / Coffee Lead to join a prestigious corporate site based in Dublin 1 Docklands.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Barista with strong leadership skills who enjoys taking ownership of a coffee operation, supporting a small team, and delivering a high-quality coffee experience in a professional corporate environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 2–3 Baristas, ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining coffee standards, managing modern coffee equipment, and acting as the main point of contact between the coffee team and the onsite management team.
Hours:
Monday to Friday
Daytime shifts (approximately 7am–3pm / 8am–4pm depending on business needs)
Pay Rate:
€15–€18 per hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of 2–3 Baristas, creating a positive and professional working environment
- Organise daily tasks and support rota planning to ensure smooth team coverage
- Act as the main point of contact between the coffee team and the onsite General Manager
- Take ownership of daily coffee operations, ensuring consistency and excellent service standards
- Confidently operate and manage modern commercial coffee equipment, including automatic/semi-automatic coffee machines and grinders
- Ensure correct machine setup, cleaning, maintenance routines, and quality checks are completed
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages while maintaining speciality coffee standards
- Demonstrate strong latte art skills and advanced coffee knowledge
- Train and support team members to improve skills and maintain consistency
- Monitor stock levels, deliveries, and ensure the coffee station is fully prepared
- Handle customer feedback professionally and proactively resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company standards
- Lead by example, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and strong leadership skills
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Barista in a busy café, hotel, restaurant, or corporate environment
- Previous experience in a Senior Barista, Lead Barista, Supervisor, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, grinders, and coffee quality standards
- Experience using and managing modern commercial coffee machines
- Strong latte art skills and understanding of coffee extraction
- Experience supporting or managing a small team
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to delegate tasks, motivate team members, and maintain high standards
- Professional approach with excellent attention to detail
- Good English communication skills
- Valid permission to work in Ireland
Desirable:
- Experience managing a corporate coffee bar or high-volume environment
- Experience creating staff schedules or supporting rota planning
- Experience liaising directly with clients or onsite managers
- Experience training Baristas and developing team skills
