Full job description

The Victoria Hotel Galway is looking for a Breakfast Chef who will work closely with the Head chef and the kitchen team aiding in food preparation and food service for a busy hotel.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy kitchen. You will have a strong understanding of fresh ingredients and the importance of a positive guest dining experience as well as be flexible to the changing needs of a business. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Chef to join the fun, energetic and vibrant Victoria Hotel Galway

A competitive salary will be offered in accordance with your experience.

Summary of key activities

Preparation of fresh food and plating of good standards
Maintaining high levels of quality
Take directions from the Head Chef
Making sure stock is rotated
Making sure HACCP is filled and up to date on each shift

Experience and skills

Minimum of 1-2 years' kitchen experience
Ability to work under pressure
Passionate and Enthusiastic about food
Experience in a similar role, ideally 1-2 years
Experience in Stock Control Procedures
Fluent in English
Ability to organize and work independently

Ideal Applicant

Ability to work under pressure
Team player
Culinary arts training is preferable
