South Dublin

We are looking for a reliable, skilled gardener to join our small, professional garden‑maintenance team. This is a full‑time, hands‑on outdoor role focused on the high‑quality upkeep of private gardens, with a strong emphasis on machinery, beds & borders, and seasonal work.

If you take pride in your craft, enjoy working outdoors, and have solid experience maintaining gardens to a high standard, this could be an excellent long‑term opportunity.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance of established private gardens, including:

Lawn care: mowing, edging, strimming, seasonal treatments
Hedge cutting and shrub pruning
Beds & borders: weeding, edging, planting, soil work, mulching
Seasonal tasks: leaf clearance, deadheading, dividing, general tidying
Use of garden machinery: mowers, hedge trimmers, strimmers, blowers
Maintaining high presentation standards across all sites
This role is focused on detailed garden maintenance rather than tree work or heavy landscaping.
Working independently and managing your own daily route

This is outdoor work in all weather, requiring physical fitness, focus, and pride in workmanship.

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in garden maintenance, groundskeeping, or similar outdoor work
Strong reliability and consistent punctuality
Confident using mowers, hedge trimmers, strimmers, and blowers
Practical plant knowledge: pruning, seasonal tasks, general horticultural care
Good attention to detail and a calm, steady working style
Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
Full B driving licence (required)
Must be legally able to work in Ireland
