Full job description

As our new Account Manager, you'll play a key role in growing our customer base and developing long-term partnerships across the Clare and West of Ireland region. You'll manage an established portfolio of accounts while identifying new business opportunities, helping customers find the right industrial, PPE and engineering solutions to support their operations.

Working closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues across the business, you'll combine your commercial expertise with a consultative approach to deliver value, drive sales growth and strengthen TED's position as a trusted partner. If you enjoy building relationships, winning new business and making a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Some of your key responsibilities:

Develop and grow your sales territory by managing existing customer accounts and winning new business.
Build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
Deliver against agreed sales and margin targets through proactive account management and business development.
Identify market trends and new opportunities to support sustainable business growth.
Maintain an effective call plan and keep accurate customer records using CRM systems.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

Proven experience in a target-driven sales or account management role.
Excellent relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational skills.
Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
A full, clean Irish driving licence.
