Key job responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term infrastructure strategy for data center deployments across EMEA, ensuring alignment with global standards and regional requirements
- Lead technical evaluations of new market opportunities, including site feasibility, power availability, climate analysis, and regulatory considerations
- Develop strategy for innovative cooling and power architectures that advance sustainability goals and optimize total cost of ownership
- Serve as the strategic engineering interface between regional delivery teams, design engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders (construction, capacity planning, supply chain)
- Provide senior technical counsel to leadership on capital investment decisions, technology selection, and infrastructure roadmap prioritisation
Identify and mitigate risks in early-stage programs by applying engineering judgment across mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines
- Influence global design standards and specifications by feeding back EMEA-specific lessons learned and regional best practices
