Are you an experienced Project Controls Manager with a proven track record in integrating cost, schedule, risk and reporting across major infrastructure programmes? You will lead the development and implementation of project controls frameworks across nationally significant D&B infrastructure projects in Ireland including metro, aviation, rail, water and highway schemes.

Your new role
As Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for leading project controls activities across major infrastructure projects in Ireland. You will establish and manage integrated controls processes, ensuring accurate, timely and reliable data is available to support decision-making and drive project performance.
You will work closely with project leadership, planning, commercial and risk teams to ensure alignment across all control functions, while overseeing reporting and governance to meet client and stakeholder requirements.
Working pattern
Hybrid role requiring office and site attendance as required, with a majority of projects delivered in and around Dublin.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Establishing and managing project controls frameworks, processes and systems across projects
Integrating cost, schedule and risk information into coherent project controls and reporting outputs
Leading the development and management of project controls plans, procedures and governance structures
Overseeing programme controls including schedule, cost, risk and change management processes
Managing project reporting, ensuring accurate, timely and consistent performance data and insights
Developing dashboards, reports and KPIs to support project and programme-level decision-making
Supporting forecasting and performance analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
Managing change control processes, ensuring impacts are assessed and reflected across cost and programme baselines
Coordinating with planning, commercial and risk teams to ensure alignment of data, assumptions and outputs
Reviewing contractor controls and reporting, ensuring compliance with project requirements
Leading project controls assurance activities, including audits and reviews
Supporting senior stakeholder engagement through clear, concise reporting and analysis
About you
Significant experience in project controls, including planning, cost, risk and reporting on major infrastructure or construction projects (e.g. metro, aviation, rail, water and highways schemes)
Strong understanding of integrated project controls principles and best practice
Experience establishing and managing project controls frameworks and governance structures
Strong capability in project reporting, including development of dashboards and performance metrics
Experience with planning and cost tools (e.g. Primavera P6, cost management systems, reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent)
Understanding of risk management, forecasting and change control processes
Experience working under standard forms of contract (e.g. NEC4) and supporting commercial processes
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear insights
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a complex environment
Degree in engineering, project management, construction management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. APM, PMI or equivalent) is preferable
