We are looking for a Lead Architect, Automation & AIOps to drive intelligent operations strategy across a large-scale enterprise IT environment. The right candidate brings deep roots in IT automation and AIOps platforms, with emerging fluency in AI and agentic technologies that are reshaping how operations teams work.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will own platform architecture, vendor strategy, and automation program delivery while helping the organization navigate the shift from traditional runbook automation toward AI-augmented, self-healing operations.
- Lead the architecture and lifecycle management of enterprise AIOps platforms, including event correlation, alert enrichment, incident routing, and fault management
- Own the automation estate strategy, governing, rationalizing, and migrating large portfolios of operational automation use cases (200-400+) across platforms
- Drive vendor evaluation and procurement processes (RFP, VCA, TCO modeling, contract review) for AIOps and automation tooling
- Integrate AIOps platforms with CMDB, ITSM, and observability tooling to deliver end-to-end incident intelligence
- Advance observability maturity, from reactive alerting through event correlation toward predictive and autonomous operations
- Collaborate with infrastructure, SRE, and platform engineering teams to embed automation across IT operations workflows
- working knowledge of AI and agentic architectures to evaluate AI-native AIOps capabilities and identify practical use cases for LLM-assisted operations
- Produce and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts including HLD, LLD, integration blueprints, and executive-facing strategy documentation
- 8+ years in enterprise IT, with 5+ years focused on AIOps, IT automation, or intelligent operations platforms
- Hands-on experience with one or more AIOps platforms: BigPanda, ServiceNow ITOM, BMC Helix, Dynatrace, Moogsoft, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience designing and managing large-scale automation portfolios using tools such as Ansible, StackStorm, ServiceNow Orchestration, or similar
- Strong understanding of event management, alert correlation, and CMDB-driven enrichment in enterprise environments
- Experience leading RFP/VCA processes and contributing to vendor contracts and procurement decisions
- Solid grasp of ITSM integration patterns including incident, change, and problem management workflows
- Exposure to AI/ML-augmented AIOps capabilities including anomaly detection, NLP-based alert summarization, and predictive remediation
- Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts such as multi-agent orchestration, LLM-assisted automation, and tool-calling patterns, sufficient to evaluate vendor claims and guide platform direction
- Familiarity with RAG pipelines or LLM integration patterns in an operational context
- Experience with AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, responsible AI principles) as they apply to automated decision-making
- Background in healthcare IT or other regulated enterprise environments
- MSc or BSc in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
You are an operations-first architect who knows how to make AIOps actually work at enterprise scale, not just in a demo. You understand the messy reality of alert storms, CMDB debt, and automation sprawl, and you know how to build a strategy around it. Your knowledge of AI and agentic platforms is a differentiator, not a requirement. You can cut through vendor hype, ask the right technical questions, and position the organization to adopt AI capabilities without betting on them prematurely.
