Full job description

Your mission

As a Structural Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of structural design projects from concept through to construction. You'll be responsible for producing detailed drawings and BIM models, contributing to coordinated design solutions, and ensuring high-quality technical output across all stages of project delivery.

Working from our Dublin office, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of building types and scales while continuing to build your experience within a supportive and collaborative consultancy environment.

What You'll Work On
You'll contribute to a varied and engaging portfolio of projects, including:

Private residential developments (low-rise and high-rise)
Public sector housing schemes for Local Authorities and the Land Development Agency (LDA)
Commercial office developments
Hotels and hospitality projects
Industrial and manufacturing facilities
Data centre developments
Healthcare and education projects
Refurbishment and adaptive reuse of existing buildings
Commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects

Your profile

Essential

Diploma or Degree in Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline
Approximately 3 years' experience working as a Structural Technician within an Irish consultancy environment
Strong proficiency in Revit Structure and AutoCAD
Experience producing structural drawings for building projects
Good understanding of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and masonry detailing
Familiarity with Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes
Experience working as part of multidisciplinary design teams
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Ability to manage your own workload and deliver work to deadlines

Desirable

Experience with BIM 360, or similar BIM coordination tools
Experience across residential, commercial, industrial, or public sector projects

Confident producing accurate drawings and BIM models with appropriate supervision and guidance
Comfortable working within a team and taking responsibility for your own deliverables
A clear communicator who works well with engineers and wider design teams
Detail-focused, practical, and committed to producing high-quality technical output
Motivated to continue developing your technical and BIM skills
Reliable, collaborative, and keen to build your career in structural engineering
