About Mentor Distribution

Mentor Distribution is a specialist technology distributor delivering innovative display, collaboration and visual communication solutions to reseller partners across Ireland.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Channel Development Executive to help expand our reseller network, develop new business opportunities and support the continued growth of our display solutions business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within the technology channel. The successful candidate will receive ongoing training, vendor support and mentoring, with a clear progression path towards Channel Account Manager and Senior Account Manager roles.

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates currently working within technology distribution, vendor sales or reseller account management who are looking for an opportunity to take greater ownership of partner development and channel growth while accelerating their career progression.

The Opportunity

This role will play a key part in expanding Mentor Distribution’s presence within the Irish IT and AV channel.

Working closely with leading display technology vendors and reseller partners, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, recruiting new reseller accounts, developing existing partner relationships and supporting sales growth across desktop monitors, professional displays and interactive display solutions.

The position combines business development, account management and sales operations, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships while maintaining strong commercial discipline around pipeline management, quotations and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify, recruit and onboard new reseller partners across the Irish IT and AV channel.

· Develop and grow relationships with existing reseller accounts.

· Generate new business opportunities through proactive partner engagement.

· Promote desktop monitors, professional displays, interactive displays and collaboration solutions.

· Build, manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through CRM.

· Prepare, manage and follow up customer quotations.

· Process and manage customer orders, ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the sales cycle.

· Work with vendor partners on growth initiatives, promotions and channel development programmes.

· Support partner enablement activities, product awareness campaigns and reseller events.

· Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting and sales administration.

· Attend customer meetings, industry events and exhibitions as required.

Skills & Experience

Essential

· Experience in a sales, business development, account management or internal sales role.

· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

· A proactive and commercially focused approach to developing new business opportunities.

· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Comfortable managing quotations, pipelines, CRM systems and sales administration.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred

· Experience working within a technology distributor, reseller, manufacturer or vendor environment.

· Knowledge of the Irish IT, AV or workplace technology channel.

· Existing relationships with resellers, integrators or managed service providers.

· Experience selling desktop monitors, professional displays, interactive displays or collaboration technologies.

· Understanding of channel sales, distribution models and vendor-led growth programmes.

· Experience identifying and onboarding new reseller partners.

Career Progression

This role has been created with long-term growth in mind. As the successful candidate develops their channel knowledge, reseller relationships and commercial experience, they will have the opportunity to progress into Channel Account Manager and Senior Account Manager positions within Mentor Distribution.

Pay: €32,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
