As an Insurance Associate Manager, you will work as part of the Aon Captive Management team to deliver top quality service to our client captive insurance and reinsurance companies.
The Insurance Associate Manager will carry out the duties of the underwriting and claims functions for a number of our client captive insurance and reinsurance companies including the following breadth of tasks:

Communicate with and demonstrate a technical ability to clients in the delivery of the services required for each client

Be responsible for the insurance and claims functions of a portfolio of captive insurance and reinsurance companies

Ensure that all clients’ insurance and claims activities are performed efficiently, effectively and accurately and that all deadlines are met

Attend and present at the captive insurance company Board Meetings

Run the insurance premium cycle from invoicing and receipt

Collaborate with third-party service providers, including loss adjusters, brokers, auditors, and actuaries
Aon’s Captive team is one of the world’s leading captive service providers. Our team provides outsourced management services to over 1,300 insurance entities across the 30 offices globally.
Aon’s Captive and Insurance Management team in Ireland comprises a dedicated team of 60 people providing best-in-class captive management, across all functions, to 40 captive insurance and reinsurance companies.
The successful individual will:

2 years’ experience of any of the following Insurance Company management, Captive Insurance Company Management, insurance broking, insurance underwriting, claims management or corporate insurance management

Understand the regulatory and compliance environment which governs Insurance and Reinsurance companies

Have excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, with clients and stakeholders

Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and third‑party providers
