Full job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Full Time Bar Person with midweek and daytime availability to join our friendly and professional Food and Beverage Team. We are ideally looking for someone to work mid-week: Mondays - Thursdays.

Duties:

Be accountable for correct standards of Mis-en-Place before, during and after service.
Ensure the preparation of the department and the still room area are always in accordance with the hotel standards.
Be responsible for handling keys and money, securely opening and closing down the department.
Inform yourself and adhere with the relevant control, maintenance, equipment, par stocks and requisition and storage systems at all times.
Preparation of both alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons
Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks
Assessing bar customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements:

Previous bar experience in a similar business- ideally a 4 hotel
Availability to work on weekends and be flexible with time
A professional manner
Excellent presentation
Ability to work both as a team and alone
Self-motivated
Friendly and outgoing
Fluent English
Fantastic customer service skills
