Your impact
At Jacobs, we’re challenging today to reinvent tomorrow. As a Contract Administrator supporting the Ireland business, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the effective management and administration of contracts on Ireland’s most significant infrastructure projects.
Working closely with the Commercial Administration Lead, you’ll help maintain compliance, manage risk, and keep contract processes running smoothly—directly contributing to the successful delivery of a transformational transport programme for Dublin.
About You
You’re a detail-driven, organised professional with experience supporting contract administration on complex infrastructure or rail projects. You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy working with a range of stakeholders, and bring a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities.
You’ll also bring:
Experience in contract administration within large-scale infrastructure or rail projects
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage detailed documentation and data
Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
Your Role
As Contract Administrator, you’ll support the day-to-day delivery of contract management activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all documentation and processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Drafting, reviewing, and finalising contracts in line with legal and organisational standards
Supporting the identification and mitigation of contract-related risks
Acting as a key point of contact for contract-related queries across internal and external stakeholders
Managing and updating contract management systems with accurate data
Communicating contract terms clearly to all relevant parties
Monitoring contract milestones, deadlines, and renewals
Producing reports on contract performance, status, and compliance
Supporting negotiations and commercial discussions
Assisting with invoicing, payments, and financial administration related to contracts
Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to support project delivery
Here's what you'll need
Intermediate level: 5–10 years’ experience, including 3+ years specialising in contract administration on complex infrastructure projects
Experience supporting the drafting and administration of commercial contracts
Skills:
Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple data inputs and reporting requirements
Ability to work effectively as part of a team on high-value, complex programmes
Influencing and stakeholder management skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good knowledge of cost management principles and commercial processes
Qualifications:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
Working towards or holding professional membership (e.g. SCSI, RICS, CIOB, IEI, CIArb)
NEC accreditation desirable
