Role Overview
The Country Partnerships Manager – Ireland is responsible for curating, sourcing, and developing a high-quality ecosystem of benefits, insurance, and retail partners for the Benifex OneHub Marketplace and Discounts platform.
Success is not solely defined by volume of partnerships or short-term revenue, but by the quality, relevance, and performance of partners within the Benefits, Discounts, and Affiliate Marketplace.
The role focuses on identifying the right partners for our clients and their employees, bringing them into the ecosystem thoughtfully, and continuously optimising their offering over time. This requires strong market insight, judgement on partner fit, and the ability to shape compelling benefit propositions - not just close deals.
You will own the partnership lifecycle end-to-end - from market mapping and targeted sourcing, through structured engagement and onboarding, to long-term partner development and optimisation. The emphasis is on building curated, high-performing, locally relevant partnerships, rather than driving solely transactional partnerships.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will take strategic direction and translate it into a clear, well-balanced partner ecosystem in Ireland, ensuring the Benefits, Discounts, and Affiliate Marketplace delivers meaningful value to both clients and their employees.
Responsibilities
Partnership Strategy & Market Development
Shape the Irish Benefits, Discounts, and Affiliate Marketplace by identifying which partners should be included and just as importantly, which should not.
Use market insight, employee needs, and client demand to prioritise categories, gaps, and partner types.
Focus on quality, differentiation, and relevance, not volume of partnerships.
End-to-End Partnership Development
Lead the full partnership lifecycle from market research and prospect identification of benefit providers, insurers, and retail brands through to outreach, engagement, and commercial structuring.
Conduct in-depth discussions with partners to define tailored partnership models based on their product, service, and commercial objectives, ensuring alignment with Benifex’s Benefits, Discounts, and Affiliate Marketplace approach.
Commercial Negotiation, Due Diligence & Contracting
Take ownership of due diligence, commercial modelling, and contract negotiation, ensuring all partnerships are commercially robust, scalable, and aligned to Benifex’s governance frameworks. Confidently negotiate with partners using data, insight, and market positioning to secure optimal outcomes.
Onboarding, Solution Design & Go-to-Market
Own the onboarding process end-to-end, working cross-functionally to design how each partner will operate within the Benifex ecosystem. Define and shape partner propositions, ensuring they are commercially viable, operationally deliverable, and effectively launched across Benifex platforms.
Partner Management, Optimisation & Growth
Build and manage a high-quality panel of Irish partners, taking accountability for their long-term success within the Benefits, Discounts, and Affiliate Marketplace. Continuously optimise partner performance, using data, insights, and regular business reviews to improve engagement, commercial outcomes, and employee value. This is an active, ongoing responsibility - not a transactional onboarding role.
Influence & Stakeholder Management
Act as a credible and confident voice both internally and externally, influencing stakeholders across Product, Commercial, Legal, Finance, and partner organisations. Drive alignment, challenge thinking where needed, and ensure partnerships deliver against both local market needs and global strategy.
Independent Ownership & Execution
Operate with a high level of autonomy to identify opportunities, build business cases, and execute partnership initiatives end-to-end. Manage your own pipeline, schedule and lead partner engagements, and maintain momentum without reliance on day-to-day direction.
What are we looking for?
Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles, with a track record of delivering results.
Demonstrable experience in negotiating commercial agreements and contracts with external partners.
Experience working within or alongside employee benefits, insurance, financial services, or marketplace environments.
Strong experience working with brokers, insurers, benefit providers, or retail/consumer brands.
Proven ability to create and deliver commercial proposals, pitch decks, and business reviews.
Experience using data and insights to inform decisions, negotiations, and partner performance discussions.
Ability to operate independently and manage the full partnership lifecycle from strategy to execution.
