Part of the regenerated Docklands that exemplify the city’s cosmopolitan future, the hotel is ideal for both business and leisure guests. The area is home to tech and finance giants, chic restaurants and world-class theatres.

Night Management responsibilities:

To ensure the hotel achieves the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets and that the highest standards of luxury and quality are delivered consistently to our guests.
To deliver excellent care to our guests
To ensure that areas of hotel are clean and well maintained.
To accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests and to maintain flexibility within teams.
To comply with the hotels cash handling procedures and ensure that all team members are trained accordingly.

Specific Duties:

Ensure smooth running of the hotel during the night shift
Act as the manager on duty during the night shift
Handle late check-ins and early check-outs
Respond to guest complaints or emergencies
Provide high-level customer service and ensure guest satisfaction and make decisions to resolve issues quickly
Coordinate between departments (front desk, housekeeping, security, maintenance)
Perform or supervise the night audit process
Verify daily transactions, billing, and payments
Balance accounts and prepare financial reports
Ensure accuracy of reservations and guest folios
Monitor hotel security and ensure only authorised access to the premises
Handle emergencies (fire alarms, medical incidents, disturbances)
Conduct night patrols and enforce safety procedures
Supervise night shift employees (receptionists, porters, security, kitchen and accommodation)
Assign tasks and ensure staff performance standards are met

Leadership Competencies:

Encourages the team towards Hotel and individual objectives and aims
Shows concern for their team members and interacts with them in a positive manner
Provides a great work environment and treating each other with dignity and respect and embracing diversity (TEAM)
Demonstrates strong leadership skills and regularly shows an ability to adjust their approach to deal with different people and situations
Communicates in a structured and effective manner with their team
Builds and sustains effective relationships with employees and customers

Motivates, inspires and empowers others to improved performance
Fully knowledgeable and complaint with the leading Hotels of the World LQA program.

Must have at least one year management experience and 2-3 years of hotel / front office experience

Must currently have the right to work in Ireland / EU

Must be available to work Night shifts 5 days a week.
