We are now inviting applications for the position of Consumer Insights Executive within the Musgrave Insights & Innovation Team. In this role you will be essential in supporting the business in the delivery of timely, actionably insight that will feed into key presentations that are used by the Senior Management within Musgrave. You will get the opportunity to work as part of a fast paced and diverse team as well as multiple stakeholders across the Musgrave organisation including our Retail Partners and their Store Managers.
Key responsibilities of the role include the following:
- Working with the Marketing and Trading teams to build insight into commercial plans and range reviews
- Supporting our online shopper community and scripting, testing, moderating, publishing, analysis, reporting & providing community support
- Assisting with ad-hoc insights projects as required including:
On the ground research projects such as exit interviews, online focus groups, Voxpops etc
- Briefing agencies on ad hoc research requirements and seeking proposals
- Responding to requests for past insight papers/research
- Conducting ad-hoc quantitative research using tools such as Survey Monkey
- Carrying out qualitative research such as focus groups and accompanied shops
- Dealing with queries as and when required, reporting back to colleagues with full, accurate and timely responses
- Ensuring the organisation is kept up to date of key consumer trends, moves and new ideas (via internal newsletter)
- Managing workload effectively, ensuring work is delivered on time in accordance with business priorities
- Management and development of relationships with key insights partners
- Compiling the monthly brand scorecards for relevant Board and Steering meetings etc.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- A minimum of 3 years in an Insights/Marketing role within FMCG, Retail Banking, Telco or a Research Agency
- A third level Marketing or Business qualification and experience of qualitative and quantitative research techniques
- Strong analytical capabilities with an emphasis on reading and interpreting data and consumer feedback
- Ability to translate research data into clear insight which is easy to understand
· Proficient use of Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint with strong Presentation and Communication Skills · Passion for retail and strong interpersonal skills and a Full Drivers Licence

- Experience in filming and editing videos would be beneficial
