Kitchen Porter
New Store Opening – Dún Laoghaire
We're excited to be opening our brand-new Pantry Café & Restaurant in Dún Laoghaire and are looking for hardworking Kitchen Porters to join our opening team.
No late nights or split shifts – daytime hours only.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a Kitchen Porter or similar role (preferred but not essential).
- Be hardworking, reliable, and flexible, with the ability to multitask in a busy, team-oriented kitchen.
- Have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Assist with stock organisation and help minimise waste.
- Ensure HACCP procedures are followed and maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Be enthusiastic, motivated, and willing to support the kitchen team wherever needed.
Key responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to a high standard.
- Keep the kitchen, storage areas, and back-of-house clean and organised.
- Assist with basic food preparation as required.
- Receive and store deliveries correctly.
- Support the chefs and kitchen team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures.
