Junior Installer – Wayfinders
Location: Primarily site-based (nationwide travel may be required)

Wayfinders is a dedicated wayfinding and signage company, specialising in large, complex projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
We help people navigate buildings and public spaces with confidence by designing, manufacturing and installing clear, compliant and high-quality wayfinding systems. Our work spans major residential developments, healthcare, universities, public buildings, commercial spaces and large-scale construction projects.
Unlike a general signage company, wayfinding is all we do. We combine specialist design knowledge, compliance expertise, in-house manufacturing, trained installation teams and our own project technology to deliver signage packages with greater accuracy, fewer snags and a smoother process from design through to handover.
We are now seeking a Junior Installer who is eager to develop their skills, learn from experienced professionals and build a long-term career in signage and wayfinding installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Installation:
- Support the Lead Installer with the setup, positioning, fixing, and finishing of signage and wayfinding elements.
- Preparation & Packing:
Help prepare tools, equipment, and materials before each job. Assist with loading, unloading, and protecting signs during transport.
Follow instructions carefully to ensure safe, accurate installation on-site. Measure, level, and align signs as directed.Help check that finished work meets Wayfinders’ quality standards — clean, precise, and durable.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, wearing all required PPE and adhering to health and safety policies.Actively learn installation techniques, reading drawings, and site management practices from senior team members.

Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in signage, construction, fit-out, or hands-on installation work is an advantage, but not essential.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Ability to read basic drawings or a willingness to learn.
- Good teamwork, communication skills, and willingness to take direction.
- Strong attention to detail and a pride in doing quality work.
- Full driving license preferred (but not mandatory).
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (or willingness to obtain).
