Role Summary:
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst with pharmaceutical industry experience to join a Scrum team supporting a digital manufacturing pipeline in a GxP-regulated environment. The role involves collaborating with scientists, business stakeholders, and IT teams to gather user requirements, support SDLC activities, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage change and risks, and ensure successful deployment of digital solutions. The Business Analyst will act as the primary customer-facing representative, translating business needs into user stories and ensuring solutions align with manufacturing and regulatory requirements. Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, SDLC, and GxP environments is essential. Knowledge of PI Historian, SIMCA/Multivariate Data Analysis (MVA), Power BI, and Confluence is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a Scrum team alongside IT Business Analysts, IT Support, Scrum Master, and Data Analyst.
- Act as a customer-facing Business Analyst based at the business site.
- Support the Digital Pipeline in a GxP environment with GxP and Non-GxP data.
- Align with customer teams of scientists supporting manufacturing.
- Support project site deployment activities.
- Collect User Requirements.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Communicate with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support Change Management activities.
- Support Risk Management activities.
- Align with IT on the completion of user stories.
- Align with IT and the Scrum Master on SDLC activities.
- Map multivariate data and understand its use and presentation for model development.
Qualifications
- Pharmaceutical industry experience (mandatory).
- SDLC experience (mandatory).
- Experience with User Requirements collection and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) (mandatory).
- 2–3 years of experience working in a Scrum team.
- PI Historian experience (advantageous, not mandatory).
- SIMCA experience and/or Multivariate Data Analysis (MVA) knowledge (advantageous, not mandatory).
- Experience with Dashboards, Power BI, and Confluence (advantageous, not mandatory).
