About the Role
As a Social Care Leader, you will be responsible for assisting the management team. You will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, child-centred care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and organisational requirements.
You will inspire a dedicated team, promote a positive culture, manage resources effectively, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and development of children and young people in care.
· Provide and support the Service Manager and Deputy Manager, and Social Care Workers.
· Foster a positive, trauma-informed, and therapeutic culture within the service.
· Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, Child Care Regulations, company policies, and legislative requirements.
· Assisting with staffing, recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development.
· Maintain a safe, welcoming, and homely environment for young people.
