Join Right Group and work on some of Ireland's most important water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
We're looking for an experienced ICA / E&I technician to install, commission, calibrate and fault-find process instrumentation, analysers and VFDs across municipal and industrial treatment plants.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, taking ownership on site and seeing projects through from installation to successful commissioning and handover.
What you'll do
Commission and calibrate flow, level, pressure and temperature instrumentation
Configure and fault-find pH, chlorine, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, conductivity, suspended solids and ammonia analysers
Set up and commission VFDs for pumps, blowers and process plant
Carry out loop checks, signal verification and PLC/SCADA interface testing
Diagnose faults on live operational assets and new installations
Support SAT/FAT, start-up and commissioning activities
Produce calibration records, test sheets and handover documentation
What we're looking for
5+ years' experience in instrumentation, controls or E&I
Strong process instrumentation and calibration background
Experience with VFD commissioning and fault-finding
Understanding of 4-20mA loops, PLCs, SCADA and telemetry
Ability to read P&IDs, loop drawings and electrical schematics
Full driving licence
Water & wastewater experience is highly desirable. Candidates from pharma, food & beverage, utilities, energy, manufacturing or other regulated process industries with strong instrumentation experience will also be considered.
