We are a growing residential construction company delivering high-quality new builds across the country. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Site Foreman to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has exceptional time management skills, can lead by example, maintain high standards of workmanship and manage day-to-day site operations.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of residential construction projects while identifying and implementing more efficient methods and processes to improve project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations and programme progression.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour.
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain quality control across all trades and project management all aspects of each development
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Organise materials, deliveries and site logistics.
- Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
- Monitor health and safety compliance.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and project managers.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
Essential
- Minimum 5 years experience in a foreman or supervisory role.
- Strong residential construction background.
- Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and quality standards.
- Ability to read drawings and specifications.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Safe Pass.
Desirable
- First Aid certification.
- Manual Handling certification.
- Experience managing high-end residential projects.
