Full-Time, Permanent | Monday to Friday | Cashel, Co. Tipperary
About Us
Maher Auctioneers is a modern, technology-driven estate agency based in Cashel, Co. Tipperary, working across Residential Sales, Commercial Sales, Agricultural Property, Lettings & Property Management, Valuations, and Online Auctions. We've built our reputation on professionalism, efficiency and genuine care for our clients — and we're growing. We're now looking for a Property & Office Administrator who wants to be at the centre of that growth, not on the sidelines of it.
The Role
This isn't a back-office, phone-answering job. You'll be the engine room of a busy auctioneering and property practice — coordinating sales, valuations, lettings and marketing, and working directly alongside our auctioneers and directors on live transactions from the day you start. If you like variety, take pride in getting things right, and want a role where your organisation and initiative genuinely move deals forward, this is built for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls and emails, and greeting clients in our Cashel office
- Coordinating property sales and client communications from instruction through to closing
- Assisting auctioneers with valuations and sales progression
- Maintaining office diaries and calendars for viewings, valuations and appointments
- Preparing property documentation, brochures and sales contracts paperwork
- Updating our CRM system and property portals (Daft, MyHome, etc.)
- Coordinating property photography, signage and brochure production with external suppliers
- Assisting with social media and marketing administration
- Supporting commercial property management administration
- General office administration and ad hoc support to directors and the wider team
What We're Looking For
- Previous office administration experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office — particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise a busy, varied workload
- A friendly, professional and confident manner with clients
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team
- A full, clean driving licence
- Willingness to learn new software and technology
- A flexible, positive, can-do attitude
Experience within property, legal, financial or other professional services is an advantage but not essential — we'll give you full training on our systems and processes.
What We Offer
- Full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Genuine opportunities for progression as the firm grows
- A supportive, close-knit team environment
- Exposure to every side of the property industry — sales, lettings, valuations and auctions
- A modern office with up-to-date technology and systems
- Ongoing training and development
Pay: €27,000.00-€41,900.90 per year
