Coast Hotel are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Accommodation Supervisor to join our team and support the smooth operation of our housekeeping department.

As Accommodation Supervisor, you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort. You will lead by example, supporting and motivating the housekeeping team while helping clean and to ensure efficient operations.
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.
- Ensure all housekeeping supplies and linen stocks are adequately maintained and monitored, reporting the Manager
- To provide an efficient and friendly service to guests always and to communicate with hotel guests in a polite and friendly manner
- Ensure your work area is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Ensure that the product served to the customer is of the agreed standards of the hotel (Bedrooms / Laundry) and public areas.
- Report any problems to Manager on duty during your shift
- Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintaining and cleaning of back corridors
- To be responsible for the routine cleaning of all public areas, bathrooms, Laundry and staff areas.
- To perform any cleaning duties as outlined by the relevant supervisor/ manager including the cleaning of guest bedrooms & bathrooms.
- To inform the accommodation manager of stock levels on a daily and weekly basis as per your SOP
- To use soaps solvents etc as directed
- To ensure that all materials and equipment are not left in a dangerous state
- To report Maintenance issues to your manager on the day.
- To count and log reject linen (un useable)
- To deal with lost property as per hotel policy
- To retain you master key and report if missing
- Report any suspicious guest or staff activity
- Ensure all the duties are completed to the standards of the hotel before finishing your shift
- To create and maintain an effective working relationship with colleagues and management
- Use of housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner
Desired Skills
- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Experience in cleaning
- The ability to engage well with guests
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to adapt to change and work well under pressure
- Have a professional image at all times in line with the Hotel standards
- Be flexible with working hours (must be available for weekends and midweek)
- Be comfortable working on their own and as part of a team.
Pay: From €15.50 per hour
