Delivery Van Driver
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our busy delivery team. This is a vital, customer-facing role focused on the efficient delivery of furniture and bedding items to residential addresses across Leinster.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting multi-drop deliveries of furniture and bedding items to customer homes.
- Loading, securing, and unloading goods safely (some heavy lifting will be required).
- Working on your own initiative to manage delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
- Providing excellent customer service during delivery and acting as a professional representative of the company.
- Performing essential daily vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Ensuring all delivery documentation is completed accurately.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this immediate start position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Full, Clean B Driving Licence (standard car/van licence).
- Proven track record as a Reliable & Hardworking individual.
- Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and solve problems independently.
- Physically fit and able to manage the handling of bulky and heavy items (furniture/mattresses).
- Excellent knowledge of local road networks (or confidence using navigation systems).
The Ideal Candidate Will Also Have
- Previous experience in a multi-drop or home delivery environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- A professional and customer-focused attitude.
