Speech and Language Therapist – Contractor (Paediatrics)

About the Role
Spectrum Health is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our AHP team on a contractor basis across our North Dublin clinic network. This is a fixed-term engagement of one to five months, with scope for an immediate start. The successful candidate will manage a predominantly paediatric caseload, delivered in person across one or more of our clinic sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for paediatric clients presenting with speech, language, communication, and/or feeding difficulties
- Manage an independent caseload and maintain clinical documentation in line with CORU and Spectrum Health standards
- Liaise with parents/guardians, schools, and multidisciplinary colleagues as required
- Provide progress reports and updates to referrers and families
- Contribute to service quality and clinical governance activities as needed
Essential Criteria
- Full, current CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist (Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board)
- Full, current membership of Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT)
- Recognised degree qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- Demonstrated clinical experience working with paediatric populations
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Own professional indemnity insurance (contractor arrangement)
Desirable Criteria
- Own therapy equipment/resource kit (desirable, not essential)
- Experience across varied paediatric settings (clinic, school, home-based)
- Full driving licence and own transport (desirable, not essential)
