Business Analyst:
Your role
For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a portfolio of strategic business and IT initiatives.
The role focuses on bridging business and technology, ensuring clear requirements, effective stakeholder collaboration, and successful delivery across multiple transformation projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders, Project Managers, Developers, QA teams, and Solution Architects to drive functional excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
Support solution design and functional decision-making.
Project Delivery
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Developers, QA teams, and Solution Architects.
Support backlog refinement, functional validation, and user acceptance testing.
Analyse functional issues and contribute to solution definition.
Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system interactions.
Contribute to delivery governance and best practices.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across business and IT.
Requirements
You bring at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst within complex IT environments.
You also have:
Proven experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
Strong ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs.
Experience facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders across business and IT.
Exposure to software development lifecycles and close collaboration with Project Managers, Developers, QA teams, and Solution Architects.
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
Fluent English.
Nice to Have
Experience with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise business applications.
Knowledge of system integration, testing, or release management.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, BPMN, or similar collaboration and modelling tools.
Certifications in Business Analysis (IIBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile methodologies are considered an asset.
