Innovate Insulation is a leading Irish insulation and retrofit contractor delivering high-quality energy upgrade projects throughout Ireland under the SEAI schemes. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our installation teams and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
This role is primarily office-based, coordinating our installation operations, scheduling works and supporting our crews. However, regular site visits will be required to carry out quality inspections, support Team Leaders and resolve any operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all installation crews.
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work schedules.
- Assign crews and Team Leaders to projects based on workload, experience and programme requirements.
- Liaise daily with Team Leaders to ensure projects are progressing safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Carry out site visits to inspect workmanship, monitor quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with SEAI, NSAI and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct quality control inspections and identify areas for improvement.
- Resolve on-site issues quickly to minimise delays and maintain productivity.
- Coordinate labour, materials and equipment with the office and warehouse teams.
- Work closely with surveyors and senior management to ensure projects run smoothly from survey through to completion.
- Monitor project progress, programme deadlines and crew performance.
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are being followed on site.
- Mentor, support and develop Team Leaders and installation crews.
- Drive continuous improvements across operational processes and customer satisfaction.
Essential Experience
Applicants must have proven experience managing projects under SEAI retrofit schemes, with strong knowledge of:
- External Wall Insulation (EWI)
- Internal Drylining / Insulated Plasterboard Systems
- Cavity Wall Insulation
- Roll-Out Attic Insulation
- Spray Foam Insulation
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Contracts Manager or Senior Site Management role within the retrofit or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of SEAI grant schemes, NSAI requirements and quality standards.
- Excellent organisational, scheduling and planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
- Confident dealing with Team Leaders and site personnel.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Good computer skills and experience using scheduling or project management software.
- Full clean driving licence.
