Oasis of Taste (incorporating O'Briens Sandwich Cafe, Abrakebabra & Bagel Factory) is a growing hospitality business with restaurants and event catering across Ireland.We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Kitchen Staff member to join our busy and growing back-of-house team at our Citywest branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong kitchen experience who is ready to take on more responsibility in a fast-paced, vibrant environment.The RoleYou will report directly to the Restaurant Manager and play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is calm under pressure, organized, positive, and comfortable leading by example during busy food service.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items to high standards across our brands (O'Briens, Abrakebabra, Bagel Factory).
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations.
- Keep the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently during busy peak periods.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, food presentation, and organization in the kitchen area.
- Monitor stock levels, manage food waste, and support kitchen organization.
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure fast and accurate order fulfillment.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen, café, or restaurant environment is essential.
- Strong back-of-house experience and solid food preparation skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines (HACCP certificate is a plus).
- A confident, calm, and professional approach under pressure.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work 5 over 7 days, including weekends.
