Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for an HR Business Partner to assist us in creating a transformational environment for our employees. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially-focused BP to be a part of a talent team that is driving cutting-edge HR tactics across the region. You will be responsible for aligning HR strategy with business priorities, providing HR business partnership support and driving results. Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of LinkedIn to help support and address the needs of the organization
Provide consultation and coaching to people leaders on various HR related topics and initiatives within their organisations
Support and enhance manager capabilities through coaching and implementation of management development programs and opportunities
Analyse data, understand trends, and develop proactive solutions to further support business objectives
Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to build out, operationalize, and execute on HR processes that can be scaled
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies across our talent processes and provide input to employee relations and performance management matters
Foster relationships with functional and COE HR Business Partners and influence and contribute to decisions impacting the business and employees
Deliver short-term solutions while solving long-term problems by addressing immediate challenges and underlying causes
Partner closely with other HR business partners and centres of excellence to ensure alignment and to create a strong, cross-functional team
Facilitate and drive strategic discussions with leaders on organization design for the future
Exemplify and champion LinkedIn’s culture and values and be viewed as a role model who drives LinkedIn’s mission and vision
Ensure all activities and decisions are aligned with compliance, employment regulations, internal policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
HR-related Degree or equivalent experience
2+ years HR experience and or relevant experience
1+ year experience executing and consulting on HR activities in Ireland and UK.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in direct client support at the people manager and Director+ level
Previous experience working in a HR functional area including, but not limited to, organizational development, change management, and employee relations
Demonstrated experience in facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated experience should include employment law understanding, previous experience in supporting performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting
Experience working across different geographies and cultures in a sales organization or technology company
Experience developing innovative solutions to solve business problems
Demonstrated skills in various HR functional areas (especially employee relations, coaching and change management) with the ability to work at all levels of the HR “stack” (strategic, operational and tactical)
Outstanding communications skill with the ability to connect and develop trust quickly with all levels within an organization.
Be confident in handling ambiguity and fluid situations and have an abundance of common sense and pragmatism.
Ability to prioritize, manage time and workload, and strategically manage and implement complex projects
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Detail and goal-oriented, has the flexibility to deal with multiple and changing priorities while focused on quality of output and service level
Have a solid foundation of employment legislation and the ability to translate this into practical advice for the LI leader population
