We are looking for a Team Leader to participate in our warehouse operations.
Work involves the physical task of loading the goods on delivery vans. This can include various types of packages and pallets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the team of van loaders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Organise daily workloads and monitor team performance to meet operational targets.
- Verify all incoming deliveries, ensuring stock is checked and loaded correctly.
- Monitor drivers' return to the yard, ensuring all required paperwork and delivery documentation is collected.
- Carry out end-of-day vehicle inspections, reporting any damage and maintaining accurate records.
- Oversee yard organisation, ensuring vehicles are parked safely and prepared for the next day's operations.
- Maintain high standards of warehouse and yard cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping at all times.
Requirements and skills:
-Good organizational and time management skills
-Ability to lift heavy objects
-Current forklift license (advantage)
-Driving license (not required)
