Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm (Term Time Only)
Evergreen Montessori is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable AIMS Support Worker to join our warm and welcoming preschool team. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide one-to-one support for a child participating in the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) programme, helping them to engage fully in the Montessori environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual support to a child in line with their AIM support plan.
- Encourage the child’s social, emotional, and educational development through play and daily activities.
- Work collaboratively with the Montessori educators, parents, and relevant professionals.
- Foster an inclusive, nurturing, and positive learning environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and contribute to observations and progress records as required.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children, particularly those with additional needs, is desirable.
- A relevant childcare qualification (minimum QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient, and positive approach.
- Garda Vetting and eligibility to work in Ireland are required.
