We’re looking for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic Full / Part-Time Chef/ Cook to join our busy café kitchen. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in producing high-quality food, and work well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Food preparation, including vegetables, meats, sauces and ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
- Prepare, plate and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Run the food pass during busy service, ensuring orders are cooked, plated and served efficiently.
- Assist with all aspects of kitchen operations and general kitchen duties.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate stock correctly and notify the Head Chef when supplies are running low.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Help maintain an organised, clean and well-stocked kitchen at all times.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive attitude, excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
- Passion for producing quality food and maintaining high standards.
