The successful candidate must have a supervisory/management qualification and good knowledge of the healthcare industry. An excellent standard of English is required, with effective verbal and written communication skills. A good understanding of IT systems is also required as the role requires an amount of office-based reporting and follow-up.
Applicants must have a full driving licence. Must have suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
The role involves frequent travel in county Cork and surrounding areas
The role will include but not limited to:
- Carrying out assessments and introductory visits to families
- Conducting client reviews
- Supervising and supporting care staff
- Liaising with families/NOK
- Liaising with the HSE, primary care teams, PHN's etc
- Conducting risk assessment
- Assist with other duties as instructed by the Management Team
Ideal candidate will:
- Have a good understanding of the Healthcare and Homecare industry
- Be a driver with a full driving license
- Have an experience in staff management and staff supervision
- Have QQI level 6 Supervisory Management qualification (or equivalent)
- Be proactive with excellent communication skills
