We’re looking for an experienced Shift Leader to join our busy village gastro pub and help us deliver exceptional hospitality.

About the role
As Shift Leader, you’ll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the business during your shifts. You’ll lead by example, support the team and ensure every guest receives friendly, efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the team throughout each shift.
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Open and close the premises.
- Supervise bar and floor operations.
- Support food service and maintain excellent service standards.
- Train and coach new team members.
- Handle customer queries professionally.
- Manage cash handling and till procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Ensure HACCP, food safety and health & safety procedures are followed.
- Work closely with management to continuously improve the business
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the hospitality industry
- Previous front-of-house/floor experience is essential
- Previous management or supervisory experience is not required, as full training will be provided
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including late evenings and weekends
Pay: €15.25 per hour
