POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the OpEx Director, the Technical Support Manager leads a team of technical support specialists responsible for ensuring robust day to day support of manufacturing operations. Process expert for the Purification & Filling processes responsible for managing process Impact assessment for process related deviations, Change Controls, QRMs and CAPAs. Acts as an Intermediate with R&D. Engineering and Validation teams with Operations to provide extensive process impact assessments. Secures success during technology transfers and process Impact projects that are Introduced In GWWO. Responsible for continuous improvement of process performance.
What You'll Do
Lead, mentor, and develop the Technical Support team, ensuring strong performance, technical capability, and adherence to training requirements.
Allocate resources to meet daily operational support needs, balancing workload across deviations, CAPAs, change controls, QRMs and project support.
Provide coaching and hands on guidance to ensure consistent execution of quality and compliance activities.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive problem solving.
Serves as the process expert for the albumin purification & filling processes, with end‑to‑end responsibility for process impact assessments related to deviations, Change Controls, Quality Risk Management (QRM) activities, and CAPA implementation.
Oversee timely and compliant execution of deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and QRM assessments, ensuring high quality investigations and effective root cause analysis
Acts as a key interface between R&D, Engineering, Validation, and Operations, providing robust and scientifically sound process impact assessments to support decision‑making and compliance.
Ensures the successful execution of technology transfers and process impact initiatives introduced within GWWO, safeguarding process robustness, product quality, and regulatory alignment.
Leads and supports continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process performance, efficiency, and reliability through data‑driven analysis and systematic problem solving.
Proactively evaluates, drives, and implements innovative technologies and trends within the albumin purification & filling processing domain.
Functions as a technical mentor for scientific, engineering, and production teams, fostering knowledge transfer and capability development across multiple areas of expertise.
Designs and delivers process‑specific training programs for production staff, ensuring consistent process understanding, operational excellence, and compliance with GMP requirements.
Responsible for maintaining a strong working knowledge of PAS‑X recipe structure and logic, understanding how recipes are designed and executed to support the albumin purification & filling processes, without assuming responsibility for recipe design or system configuration

5 to 8 years’ experience In GMP Manufacturing Operations
Preferred area of study: Biotechnology, chemical engineering or related disciplines
Purification Process Experience
EBR Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor / Master's degree, PhD preferred , Lean Six Sigma Certification , EBR System certification
