Job Title: Warehouse Assistant
Job Overview:
The role of Warehouse Assistant is to assist the Warehouse Manager with general duties, which arise in the Warehouse. This includes assisting in the day-to-day overseeing of equipment as it leaves and is returned to the Warehouse to ensure it is all kept to the highest of standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing stock processing for event orders
· Maintain a safe and efficient warehouse operation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods/stock items from customers and suppliers according to established procedures.
· Ensure accurate stock management, including tracking inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and initiating replenishment/replacement orders as needed
· Ensure fulfilment of requirements for each event is picked in a timely and accurate manner.
· Load and unload stock/equipment with minimal delay
· Provide daily reports/updates to the Warehouse Manager regarding goods out/in, shortages, transport, hours worked, and attendance.
· Record and report damages and/or shortages.
· Perform administrative tasks related to order/event management/requirement.
· Coordinate with Account Managers to ensure accurate stock/equipment is assigned for each event.
· Maintain excellence in housekeeping standards.
· Promote a positive health and safety culture within the team.
· Ensure all warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, are operated safely and efficiently.
· Foster a positive and engaged team environment.
Full clean drivers licence desirable
Certifications: Forklift certification or similar is advantageous.
Environment: Primarily warehouse-based with occasional travel to job sites as needed.
Hours: Standard warehouse hours with potential for overtime or shift work depending on project requirements.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
