Please note this role has a 40 hr working week, Monday – Friday 8.00am-16.30pm with a gross annual salary of €37,544.00 (paid pro-rata weekly) This role has the responsibilities as per below
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process and materials.
- Perform welding on a variety of steel components, using MIG welding machines.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures by welding steel plates, pipes, and other materials.
- Ensure proper alignment, fit-up, and welding of parts to meet specifications.
- Inspect welds for defects or structural issues, ensuring quality control.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform welding tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and welding equipment.
- Perform maintenance on welding equipment as necessary and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Assist in material handling and preparation of parts before welding.
Pay: €18.05 per hour
