As EHS Manager, you will report to the Group HSEQ Director and MH Engineering Managing Director to play a key role in driving environmental, health and safety excellence across MH Engineering's construction operations. You will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and continuous improvement of EHS policies, systems and practices to support safe and compliant project delivery. You will work closely with senior management, project teams and EHS personnel to foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company standards.

Responsibilities-
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of environmental, health and safety strategies across all construction activities.

Develop, maintain and enhance Safety Management Systems in line with legal and company requirements.

Undertake periodic site visits across Ireland and Europe to support project teams, conduct EHS audits and inspections,

Provide expert guidance and coaching to senior management and project teams on EHS matters.

Monitor EHS performance through metrics and KPIs, driving improvement initiatives and best practice.

Lead investigations, corrective actions and reporting relating to EHS incidents, audits and inspections.

Coordinate EHS training programmes to meet regulatory requirements and improve workforce awareness.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support EHS objectives.

Mentor and support EHS Advisors, promoting professional development and high performance.

Support the company's strategic growth plans through proactive EHS planning and leadership.
Requirements-
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related discipline, or a Level 5/6 EHS qualification.

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar EHS management role.

Strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety legislation and industry best practices.

Experience conducting audits, investigations and implementing corrective actions.

Hold a valid EU passport with the ability to travel freely throughout Ireland and Europe as required to support project and business needs.

Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
