We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor / Assistant Facilities Manager to support the effective delivery of services, with particular responsibility for out-of-hours and weekend operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance and assist the Manager in ensuring services are delivered in line with organisational policies, statutory requirements, and best practice.

Orione Care Irealndare currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor /Assistant facilities Manager. This role would suit a hands-on maintenance professional with strong facilities, repairs and preventative maintenance experience.
Your Responsibilities
As Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily maintenance, repairs and facility checks
- Completing planned preventative maintenance across the properties
- Responding quickly to operational maintenance issues
- Coordinating contractors, suppliers and health and safety requirements
- Supporting management with compliance, records and property standards
- Oversee facilities, housing, and estate management across all properties
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and contractor services, ensuring value for money
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations
- Manage records, inspections, and reporting in line with legal requirements
- Liaise with residents, families, contractors, and external agencies
- Address anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches, and property issues
- Support the day-to-day management of services and deputise for the Manager as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or property supervision
- Strong hands-on repair, plumbing, electrical or general maintenance skills
- Good knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving ability
Salary & Benefits
- Salary of €42,000 - €55,000 Depending on experience

- Essential Requirements:
- Practical maintenance knowledge and experience (including electrical and plumbing systems)
- Experience in facilities, housing, or estate management
- Knowledge of housing/homeless legislation and safeguarding requirements
- Experience working with contractors and managing maintenance services
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- To work out of hours and at weekends when required
