We are currently seeking a warm, reliable and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our small, family-run preschool.
We are a child-centred setting where play, creativity and emotional development are at the heart of what we do. We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about early years education and who understands the importance of creating a calm, supportive and engaging environment for young children.
*Starting September 2026*
The Role:
- Delivering age-appropriate activities
- Supporting children’s social, emotional and cognitive development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues
- Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (minimum Level 5/6 as per DCEDIY requirements or equivalent)
- Experience working in a preschool or early years setting preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A patient, positive and proactive attitude
- Garda Vetting will be required
Hours:
9:15am–12:45pm, minimum 2 mornings per week. Flexibility to cover additional days when required would be appreciated.
