Customer Service & Transport Support
Whiteriver Group is a leading business-to-business supplier of flooring, decking and doors, working nationwide with builders’ merchants, DIY retailers, furniture stores and specialist retailers.
The Role
We are seeking a customer-focused, energetic team player to join our growing team, based at our offices in Dunleer, Co. Louth, A92 V8YN.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager and Transport Lead, you will support the smooth running of customer service and transport operations, with a strong focus on efficient order processing, load planning and delivery support.
What You Will Do
- Support effective and efficient load and transport planning to help deliver the best possible service
- Build strong working relationships with our sales team and customers nationwide
- Deal with customer queries by phone, email and occasional in-person communication
- Process customer orders promptly and accurately
- Assist with queries relating to stock, orders, pricing, deliveries and returns
- Process goods-out delivery dockets, invoices and return documentation
- Act as a key link between the sales team, customers and transport team
- Expedite orders and help resolve customer queries in a timely and professional manner
- Provide support to other departments where required
- Work both independently and as part of a team, with a positive, solution-focused attitude
What You Will Bring to the Role
- 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role, or a recent graduate willing to grow into the position
- A strong customer focus and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- A confident, helpful and empathetic approach to customer service
- A natural ability to assist others with professionalism and clear communication
- Reliability, friendliness, politeness and a strong team-player attitude
- Good initiative and a willingness to learn
- PC literacy, including MS Office; experience with SAP Business One is an advantage, but training will be provided
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Strong written and spoken English
