The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Artic Operator to join our team in Longford. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing company that values professionalism, safety, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate articulated tanker vehicles across a variety of customer sites.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and ensure all vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
- Carry out assigned work efficiently while complying with company policies and health and safety procedures.
- Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing Glancy Enviro professionally.
- Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with dispatch, operations, and site teams to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
Essential Requirements
- Full clean Category C & CE driving licence.
- Minimum of 4 years' continuous HGV driving experience.
- Valid Safe Pass.
- Valid Manual Handling certification.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
- Previous experience operating vacuum tankers or within the drainage, environmental, or waste management industry.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of environmental services and safe operating procedures.
