Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Quantity Surveyor

Due to continued growth, OCC Construction are seeking to appoint experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our commercial team. We are open to speaking with candidates at Project QS and Senior QS level.
OCC Construction is a well-established main contractor based in Galway, delivering high-quality residential, commercial, education, refurbishment and protected structure projects across the West of Ireland.

Role Responsibilities
Depending on experience level, responsibilities will include:
- Managing budgets, cost tracking and commercial reporting
- Preparing and managing payment applications, valuations and final accounts
- Administering construction contracts including PWC and RIAI contracts
- Procuring subcontractor packages and supporting supply chain coordination
- Evaluating, negotiating and processing subcontractor variations and claims
- Managing subcontractor accounts and commercial documentation
- Monitoring project cash flow, cost/value reconciliations and commercial risks
- Attending site and commercial meetings as required
- Working closely with project teams to align budgets, procurement and delivery programmes
- Ensuring commercial compliance with company systems, procedures and reporting requirements
- Supporting, mentoring or guiding junior team members where appropriate
Requirements
- Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience for Project QS level
- 5+ years’ experience for Senior QS level
- Main contractor experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of cost control, subcontractor accounts and contract administration
- Experience with PWC and/or RIAI contracts
- Good understanding of Irish construction regulations and industry best practice
- Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with Cubit, Procore or similar systems is an advantage
- Full clean Irish driving licence
- Right to work in Ireland
Salary & Package
Salary will range from €55,000 to €90,000, depending on experience, with a full benefits package.
