Accounts Assistant job

Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager and Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing accurate ledger entries and general ledger reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensuring policy for purchase and sales ledger reporting is completed properly including PO management and invoicing debtors.
· Adhere to compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Responsibility for the sales and purchases journals and general ledger to ensure timely completion of month end process.
· Assist in providing accurate month end reports to support the management accounts process with monthly review of overheads & variable costs.
· Assist in preparation of tax returns.
· Support to the cash management process/preparation of rolling cash flow statement.
· Ad-hoc finance projects and to perform other related duties as assigned.
· Interact with external third parties – Revenue, External accountants, auditors.
SKILLS PROFILE
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified bookkeeper (ATI) or part-qualified accountant preffered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting within a busy industry environment.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, including cash control and overhead analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
