- Tenure Temporary/Specified Purpose - Full Time
- Panel A panel may be created from which permanent and specified purpose contract vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled.
- Hours of Work 35 Hours the allocation of these hours will be at the discretion of the Department Head and in accordance with needs of service
- Department Speech & Language Therapy
- Location of Post - Peamount Healthcare, Newcastle, Co. Dublin
- Working Model - Fully Onsite
- Remuneration - *Current salary scale with effect from 1st June 2026: 45,514 (point 1) to 65,068 (point 14).
- Annual Leave - As per Health Service Executive (HSE)
- Closing Date Wednesday 15th July
- Proposed Interview Date - To be confirmed - At least 1 weeks notice will be provided. Shortlisted candidates are expected to make themselves available.

PURPOSE OF THE POST
To provide a quality Speech & Language Therapy Service to those who present with communication difficulties and / or eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties, as appropriate.
POINT ON SCALE
New appointees coming from the private sector will be placed on the minimum point of the scale (*exceptions may apply for the below grades, provided proof of recognised service is submitted by VOS)
- *Clinical and Therapy Grades and Staff Nurses*: Incremental credit may be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland and abroad (Department of Health Circular 2/2011) in the Civil Service, local authorities, public service, health service and other public service bodies and statutory agencies.
