We are looking for a self-driven, motivated person to join our management team in our Glen of the Downs store. This is a great opportunity for a retail supervisor to join our progressive team in the garden leisure business. Outdoor Living is a fast paced growing business that strives in being the one stop shop for everything to do with outdoor living.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- In charge of opening and closing procedures
- Ensure excellent customer service is always given, motivating staff to do the same .
- Ensuring you go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy.
- Liaise with different departments in the business e.g. Logistics/purchasing, with any queries that may arise .
- General cleaning of showroom.
- Processing sales invoices and orders
- Deal with enquires and complaints, resolving the issue at the earliest opportunity in a professional manner.
- Merchandising showroom, managing stock levels, ordering stock, and stock control.
- Maximizing sales performance whilst ensuring stock and cost control
- Dealing with information and tasks given by senior management,
- Ensure excellent follow up to ensure all customers are responded to in a reasonable amount of time.

This role operates on a 5‑day rostered week over 7 days, weekend work will be required.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a sales and customer service role.
Excellent communication skills and customer service is a must. The candidate should be an all-rounder and confident to take on different roles in the business.
The current opening hours are from 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm to 5.30pm on Sundays.
