We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to join our team. This is a key role within the business, suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the store and warehouse.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control.
- Provide excellent customer service to both trade and retail customers.
- Lead and support store and warehouse staff.
- Process sales orders, quotations, and customer enquiries.
- Ensure the store is presented professionally and operates efficiently.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding stock availability and purchasing.
- Maintain accurate stock records and reporting.
- Assist customers in identifying suitable parts and products for their requirements.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Knowledge of the agricultural, construction, plant, and engineering sectors.
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with stock control and inventory management.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
